Ok new complaint... well its only half a complaint really, but why is it that most yummy things are unhealthy?? And why is it that most healthy things just aren't as tasty as their unhealthy counter parts??

There's a lot to be said for salt and fat, lol. There must not have been alot of that stuff back in the caveman days so our brains are programmed to seek that stuff out. Of course back then, as we hunted the mighty beast, we burned it all off. Can't do that sitting at a computer. Plus our brains are savvy enough to know when it's being cheated on by the fake stuff. Maybe we will eventually evolve enough to want a piece of fruit instead a big hunk of chocolate cake, but that ain't gonna happen in my lifetime, lol.

Yeah or you would have thought that evolution would have helped out and made our bodies metabolize things more easily since we don't have to store so much for survival anymore. Silly bodies.

lol... but its just not equaling out:) I am still not fully recovered from being sick, but am at about 80%, so I biked a bit today. I did 32km(20miles) and was drenched!! Now I am home and showered and going to take a nap... I'm so happy that I had off from work today!

I'm glad you're feeling better. I haven't ridden my bike in a long time. I've been going to the gym these days instead. I really should try to do more outside stuff these days, but I don't.

Thanks! I should be in bed, but I am stalling for some reason. Its midnight here for me though so I'll be going after this post.
I LOVE the gym though. Last year I lived in a different city and worked at a different school and the gym I belonged to was only 5-10minutes away from work and I was in there anywhere from 4-6days a week. I loved it. I usually went during the day, so there weren't many people so I never really had to wait for equipment, and they had this awesome shower/sauna area where you could relax in after your work out and still sweat a bit if you wanted to. It was just great. I loved it.
The city I am in now has the same gym, but its further away from work now and it would be really hard to get to.
Instead I'm trying to use my school's weight room, which sucks, but it has the basic stuff. The only problem is they don't turn the showers on until after 5pm. I usually will try to lift in the mornings if I can, so I have to make sure not to get too sweaty or else I'll be stinky all day.
And I do my cardio outside mostly, but I am getting a stationary bike to use as well for when it rains.
I miss my gym though. Back in the US I had a home gym which I loved using too, but I have no room for one in my apartment here in Japan:(
I really wish I could teleport!! That would make life so much easier!! (and save on gas too;))

Yes! Complaint of the day! Why the heck can't we teleport yet? You'd think we would have figured out how to do that by now, lol. Lucky for me the gym I use is the company gym and it's five minutes from my house. No need to 'port over there. ;D

I would be teleporting EVERYWHERE!!! Like in Jumper how the guy couldn't reach the remote and BAMF he is with in range... that would be me!!! And the teleporting has got to burn some calories so too so you figure it wouldn't be like I was being lazy;) But that would be so nice.... oh no my first class starts at 9am and its 855 and I haven't left my apartment yet... BAMF... heehee.. no problem!!! Man that would rock. We need to figure away to do that!! lol I mean really... Evolution!? We haven't really evolved much lately, its time something happened;)

It's okay to BAMF so long as ya don't have the Nightcrawler signature brimstone smell. That could be somewhat embrassing.

lol... yeah. sniff sniff... wasn't me!! heehee
I would much rather teleport like they do on Charmed. Jumper's take on porting is really cool but man, the damage left after a jump... my wife would kill me if the walls were all messed up cuz I was too lazy to actually WALK to the fridge for a beer!! lol

I liked it. Some people that overly criticize movies didn't like it, but I did. It was a fun movie to watch and I think that Haydensen (sp?) did really well.

Today's complaint : I hate it when famous people I like die. I am so bummed about George Carlin. He was always one of my favorite comedians.

Yeah that is a real bummer. I mean death sucks period, but I know what you mean. I remember his character as Rufus from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.
I too have a complaint: Meetings. We have meetings every month, and I swear most of the stuff could be communicated via email, or even dropping it into our mail boxes at work. I have a friend in a different business that said his company also has monthly meetings and if there is nothing to really discuss, instead of canceling it, they will make up something to talk about, no matter how little or unimportant it is.
I just hate wasting time. I mean if I waste time reading comics or watching tv, thats different, its recreational, but wasting time at work is just stupid IMHO. I mean, fine, they pay me, so I go and keep quiet, but its not an efficient way to spend our time.
And while that meeting is only once a month, there are normally other little meetings that are equally silly that we have almost weekly. I wish they would just join the 21st century and email it to us.
