I am at work now, but that should be downloaded and waiting for me tonight:) I am not really excited or anything though because of the sheer number of one-shots that have been out, but if you say its better than the other recent ones maybe I should get my hopes up a little more:)

I'm leaning towards them finishing it up. They said Yu would start working on it once he was done with Secret Invasion and that the scripts were finished and turned in now. But what about this cover. Dark Avengers #1. That character on the right does not look hairy enough to be Wolverine.

I was unsure about how Dark Avengers was going to go so quite frankly, I skipped it in the solicits. I may go back and pick it up if the reviews are favorabe. It's just that I get a lot of titles already...

Sorry I'm a bit lost.. are their rumors that Wolverine is finishing? I would much rather them keep the ongoing and stop all the one-shots... and maybe the Origins book as well.
Im also lost on the whole Dark Avengers thing. Is this a new book? A continuation of some sort?

The Dark Avengers are springing out of the whole Secret Invasion thing. I've seen an advance copy of the cover for New Avengers 50 that shows the New Avengers vrs. Dark Avengers. Here's a ropugh scan from it from the solicits. Some of the Dark Avengers are ex-Thunderbolts (which I don't read so I have no clue who they are) but there is no question that "Dark Wolverine" as shown above, is Daken.

IGN has all the Hi-Res Dark Reign goodies. As for who the Dark Avengers are. It's all speculation right now. But it's looking like it will be the following. Possible Spoilers Ultra Girl/Moonstone in the retro Marvel Girl Daken as Wolverine Bullseye as Hawkeye Ares as himself Norman Osbourn as The Iron Patriot Venom as Black Costume Spider-Man. Noh-Varr as himself The Sentry as himselfBut like every other Avengers team, don't expect a set team for the whole run, plan on it being mixed up from month to month.

Could be interesting.
I just finsihed reading Origins.. and I gotta say the last couple issues have been really good. Much better than the whol first couple dozen books. If Daken is a Dark Avenger, I guess that means that whatever Logan is trying to do for him, fails.

Yikes... Wow.. oh no... yes... I have no idea how to comment. I am of two minds on this. I love Wolverine, and so am happy to get more of him. Yet at the same time.. does it make sense? How is this going to work? We have him in 3/4 of Marvel books, he has 3 ongoings already.. and 99% of these are all in the main timeline. Its just getting a bit messed up.
This is one reason I loved the idea of an Ultimate Wolverine solo.. its more wolverine but has NO connection at all to 616. That would be easy to buy than some of the 616 books now. I mean how can he be in a mission to save his son one minute, then be enjoying himself in a bar half way around the world the next? lol
Still, I hope this is good. I like the cover art.

I wonder how long it will last. Some of these new series just crap out quickly. It sounds somewhat interesting, but I hope it doesn't come at the expense of Origins which is finally starting to get good.

Yeah thats true.
I have actually decided to cut back on some books, by like half. With Ultimate X-Men going away, and the addition of so many wolverine books, I might just keep some basics that I enjoy and then stick to downloads for the rest.

Just read 31. I liked it.. not sure I am thrilled to see cyber back.. I mean how the hell did you survive what happened to him? But it was a cool volume and the ending make some future issues covers make more sense in a way.
