Yeah me too. Is the Ghost Boxes thing a separate series?

We are all in agreement about the outer space crap. I hope its not.. if it is, hopefully it will be simple and not get all crazy like Uncanny did until recently.
Jango you aren't digging the art? I like it overall. Bianchi is one of my favorites.

The Ghost boxes is a two parter in lue of the regular issues. It does have to do with the Ghost Boxes we just saw in the last issue, so I have to wonder they just didn't include it in the regular book.

Yeah stupid idea. Has the first issue of Ghost Boxes come out yet, because I didnt see it at the comic shop. And I dont hate the art but I prefer simpler art. Like Cassady's art on Astonishing was perfect for my tastes. I just think Bianchi tries to add so many detals, that it looks way too busy and sometimes ugly. When I saw the X-men's "civilian clothes" I was like what the ****!!! They looks like hobos, like they just picked up random clothes out of garbage cans. And everything he draws is too detailed, like when Hisako gives Storm a cup of tea, the cup looks too detailed. IDK, I think it would look better if it was a little simpler, if you get what I mean. Though I haveto say he draws an awesome Beast.

This poor books has some horrible time keepers. I was so hoping to see this more often with the new team, but no luck. Its been so long I forgot what the story is about. Not good. I don't know why Marvel doesn't realize this book could be a top seller if it was just out on time.

Maybe it will get better. I do wonder if it might get ouright cancelled since it has people that are on other teams. It's sort of redundant right now.

yeah, astonishing was supposed to be the core team, but with its schedule how could it be? They had to put the top players in other books. I would hate to see it canceled though, but the way its going it is almost pointless.

The 3rd comic I got to catch up on. I am not sure if I am really liking it or not. Same issue as before.. it just comes out too slowly. Forge, like Bishop, is just all messed up now and I sort of miss the 90s. lol
Over all a good read. Just wish it came out monthly.

Nope. It's going to be Phil Jimenez on pencils with Warren Ellis still writing. While Ellis is frequently late all on his own, Bianchi whose art you love so well is just dragging things down. It'll be a while befroe you see them, though, they haven't even solicited the next five part series. There's an older article about it here: marvel.com/news/comicstories.8483.WWPhilly_~apos~09~colon~_Jimenez _on_Astonishing
