The art is different but so far the story telling seems to be quite good. But then, I like Ellis anyhow...

OK, I have just now decided I don't like how Bianchi draws females faces. They look so manly to me.

The art is different but Bianchi is really good.. at least in my opinion.
Keith I sort of see what you are saying but I have to disagree. I find his Emma very sexy. The other characters will take time to grow on me, but Emma has won me over so far. (in terms of female characters)
The stories are quite good though so while they are different from the first four arcs you will probably like them Jango. At least I hope you do.

I hope so too. But the female characters DO look manly, they almost look like trannys lol, especially Storm.

Their bodies are fine, very good actually. Its their faces that are kind of weird. But the others look really good, especially Beast, he looks awesome.

Yeah I see what you guys mean now. THe faces. The bodies are smokin though.
Yeah I agree that beast is the best looking. I wonder if thats because he is the least human looking. I wonder how Bianchi would draw nightcrawler or an iced up ice-man. I hope he does Wolverine a bit more buff though in the future.
Still the art is freaking awesome and ranks up there for me. Finch may still be my favorite at this point though, but that might change the more I read this book.

After seeing an Astonishing X-Men mini series announced and after Whedon's run. I have the feeling this will be dropped soon. I have such a sour taste in my mouth from the first 24 issues, but I love Ellis' run on T-Bolts.

That would suck since I just started reading it.

I don't think it will be dropped. I mean, no matter how you felt about the first 24 (which I liked), that team is finished and there is a new team now. It will take an arc or two for people to decide if they like or dislike the new team. Plus Astonishing is sort of the flagship book for the X-Men right now. I don't think it'll get dropped. If anything the mini is probably there to remind people that its there. The biggest problem with Astonishing was its schedule. Once people find out there is a new team, they may come back and stay with it.

Astonishing's biggest plus is Bianchi. His art is so amazing. I loved his run on Wolverine and I'm loving this now. I hope he never leaves Marvel.
