Okay... so I was going to start a thread just for "Australia" since I just finished watching it. But, I decided why not have a thread for all his movies so that there'a wider spectrum to speak about. So lets speak of Jackman movies (of course there's a whole other thread for the X-Men movies ).

And... I just saw Australia and thought it was fantastic.
I actually enjoyed it over "Titanic"

Well obviously for me X-Men are my favorites, but I also enjoyed Prestige and Swordfish a lot. I haven't seen Australia yet.

Swordfish was probably the first movie I saw Hugh in.. not sure if X-Men came out before or after, but I had no idea who Hugh Jackman was at the time. I borrowed the dvd from a friend and liked it. Then a while later watched it again on tv and my wife was saying how familiar the guy was. thats when I noticed. Now of course I could pick him out quickly enough:)

Swordfish came out after X1, I do know that for sure. It was the first Jackman movie I saw him in afterwords and I loved it. Travolta was just wonderful in that too. Halle was meh, but then I don't care all that much for her anyhow. Then I saw Someone Like You and that was all right. I sdidn't care much for Van Helsing, I thought the vamps were wierd and stupid in it. The Prestige I really liked a lot.

I liked Kate and Leopold only because of Hugh and Liev (and the period costumes!). I couldn't STAND Meg Ryan. She was incredibly irritating throughout the whole film.
The Prestige is a Top Ten for me...it's just full of awesome actors and it's Victorian era so I can't help but love it.
Someone Like You was cute for a chick flick. And Ashley Judd is adorable.

Watching stuff while under the influence always makes it better. The Fountain was okay, I thought. Very pretty to watch, the story was incredibly romantic but it wasn't for everyone. It certainly wasn't a film "for the masses."

agreed.. err.. on the under the influence part AND the "It certainly wasn't a filme "for the masses."" part. My friend told me how much he hated that movie and thought it made no sense at all. He accused me of liking it ONLY because Hugh Jackman was in it. I don't know.. I know the reason I watched it was because Hugh was in it, but I'm not sure if I liked it because it was him. lol

Found another one...
"Scoop", also starring ScarJo, Ian McShane (Deadwood, Kings) and written, directed and also starring Woody Allen.
I haven't watched it yet. Found it in the $5 DVD bin at Wal-Mart.
