I don't think she'll get a metal skeleton.
Alright, I just looked into her healing factor. I thought they had said she didn't have her skeleton laced because her healing factor wouldn't allow it. But Wiki says she escaped before they had a chance to do it.

Someone elsewhere had said they had delayed the bonding process because they wanted to wait until she was fully grown. In that case it makes sense that she escaped before they could do it.

Yeah I remember it being her escaping too, but there was a comment in the comics about her age. I think they were going to do it anyway but she got out in time. They didn't care about her age or stunting it.
I just really hope all this wolverine cloning.. well.. not literally as in x23 cloning, but making everyone exactly like wolverine stops. The whole reason sabretooth and wolverine were so awesome is because they were basically the same, but with different attributes. Now they are they just making everyone wolverine. First they clone x23... then they make Daken... its so stupid. I mean really.. why would Daken have a healing factor and claws just because his father did? Mutations don't work like that. Thats like saying Cable should have optic blasts because of scott.. or why aren't collosus and magick or the older brother (forgot his name) all able to turn into metal? They have different mutations.. Daken being a mutant is fine.. that makes sense, but come on. So lame. Ok.. end rant. lol

I'll disagree there. I like what X-23 and Daken bring to the table. X-23 while along the lines of Wolverine obviously, but she brings a little something new to the table, she's a female, a young female and she was quite literally created and bred just for killing. So for her, it's an uphill battle for humanity.
Now Daken is a different story. Yes, he is a version of Wolverine, but we get to skip all the various technicality that make him Wolverine's child. He flat out is his child. No, step child, no foster child, no child from alternate reality. Flat out, is his child.
Now, yes the ability's is the same, should they? Probably not, but in my view, it helps make the character potential more interesting. However, I haven't followed the character, I stopped reading origins shortly after he showed up, the overall story in Origins just wasn't working enough for me. I won't be reading Wolverine once Millar leaves it, he's the reason I stuck around just a bit longer. But I do read Dark Avengers.
I definitely don't want to see Daken bonded with the metal. Similarities can be good, but clones (no pun intended) are not always good.
Not sure if I would want to see X-23 bonded with it. But I love what Kyle and Yost have done with her. So I won't be quick to judge them. They've earned my respect and admiration.
Now for that issue of X-Force coming out. I'm wondering now if we're getting a curveball. While the cover conatins obvious hints and suggestions. Covers are often full of crap. Makes me wonder if they find more clones (Unsuccessful or not).

I was fine with X23 for the exact reasons you gave, plus she was sort of the first "clone" and like you said, being a little girl, it made/makes for some really interesting stories. I liked it in that I hoped/hope that we will get to see a sort of fatherly bond with Logan.
Enter Daken. The character being sneaky, a step up from his old man, blah blah blah is fine.. they need to do that to make him interesting. A son that was way weaker wouldn't make for a cool bad guy. I get that. Its just so forced. And the whole claws/enhances healing.. thats such bull s**t. I mean they can't think of ANYTHING better? A mutant with a bad temper, healing factor, claws, and awesome killing skills.. how many do we need??
They had a great thing with Sabretooth. I would trade Daken for Sabretooth anyday. But.. I guess its true what they say.. can't teach an old dog new tricks. lol

I finally got to this one too. Loved it. Great story really. I am really interested in Hope and her story. Bishop I just feel sorry for. The guys lost it. Cable comes from further down the road so it should be clear which future should be protected, IMHO.
Apocalypse coming back is cool, but I am really disappointed that they ignore the fact that Logan was also a horsemen before.

True, I forgot about that myself, lol. So much emphasis on Warren. Of course if we all forgot about Gambit being one no one would be happier than me.

Yeah the whole thing with Gambit was just odd. I still have no idea how they fixed that.

It was all done "off screen" by Sinister. What a cop out. It could have been a fascinating story.
