I read the first part. I liked it. Im kind of confused though about the timeline. How does everything fit together? I mean witht the ghost boxes thing in astonishing, the storyline in Uncanny, and now this. And somethings confuse me like how come in X-Force (Im not reading it but looking at the covers) Angel has the metal wings but in everything else he looks normal with his feathered wings?

Astonishing has always been a little separate. Look at it this way, if it happens in San Fran then it's after Uncanny 500. I think the thing with Angel having metal wings in X-Force was a self inclosed sort of arc, at the end of it he was feathered again. I don't think he'll be going back and forth between metal and feathers.

Oh ok. I knew about Astonishing, its always been its own little thing. But just everything together can be a little confusing. And when does Secret Invasion take place?

I am not sure. I am guessing that since SI X-men takes place in San Fran that the regular SI stuff would also be just after Uncanny 500. So far in Uncanny there has been no mention of SI at all so it must be taking palce after 500, no? That is my guess.

Archangel's wings threw me off in this issue. At the end of X-Force he was back to feathered wings but future X-Force Solic show him with metal wings and yet he has them in Secret Invasion while everything else has feathers. So all in all hopefully he keeps the metal wings. That could assure I keep X-Force.

Yeah, I just finished reading number 2 and on one page he has Warren with the feathers as LiLa Chaney (?) telports in a group and then later, on the last pages, metal Warren shows up with metal wings. These things are sorta happening at the same time. What the hell? I think somebody screwed up big time.....

Yeah and Pixie asks Warpath if "the guy with the metal wing is new?" And he says "yeah..." so maybe theres something going on since one of the characters noticed or maybe they just f***ed up. Also, I just noticed that in the cover above, X23 is wearing a yellow and blue-black costume with red blood but on the issue that I bought shes wearing her xforce black and grey uniform with green Skrull blood on her. o_0

Well covers are funky things, They don't always have to conform to what is actually going on inside. I learned that a long time ago.

Yeah I know, I just mean that I guess they changed the colors for the release or something.

I found this funny. From Lying in the Gutters on Comicbook Resources. NON-SWIPE FILEOne page of "Secret Invasion: X-Men" #1 has Angel... ...the other, Archangel... ...despite they're meant to be versions of the same character. Is it a really obvious clue that Angel is a Skrull? And that all the other X-Men are idiots? Or is that the readers...

That's what I've been saying, lol. Assuming that the feathered Angel is a skrull -- and if there is a skrull, I think it's that one -- how did Cyke not know? Doesn't he keep track of who is where?

He seems really confident that no X-men is a Skrull so maybe he doesnt really pay attention, which is making me think he's a Skrull. =o But the Angel/Archangel thing I think is just a mistake, not a clue that hes a Skrull.

I haven't really read much on Secret Invasion, but I am going to start. After X-Force... is that a clue about Angel? I mean he got all archangely in there.

We'll have to see what's what with Angel in SI, if there is a skrull in there or not. I don't like Warren to go all switchy changy back and forth but he did in X-Force so who knows?
